Jeff Smith, president of City Wide Facility Solutions in Indianapolis, received the prestigious “Platinum Market” award at the company’s 18th annual franchise convention.
Originally scheduled to take place in Tucson, Arizona, City Wide quickly adapted to host its first ever virtual convention. The theme for this year was “The First Choice,” which aligns with the company’s vision to be the first choice for every community member it interacts with, including franchise owners, employees, clients, independent contractors and vendors. During a year of uncertainty, City Wide held true to its mission, becoming a trusted partner for more than 12,500 clients, 6,800 independent contractors and 23,000 combined associates nationwide.
“Each time we receive this award it feels like the first, especially this year when 2020 posed many challenges,” said Smith. “This award truly belongs to my team for their hard work in ensuring our clients’ needs are always taken care of. We’ve built an environment amongst us that fosters teamwork that allows people to perform their best because they know they’re valued and can count on one another.”
During the highly anticipated awards ceremony, the City Wide team recognized Smith for his exceptional achievements in sales, operations excellence and other metrics. The Indianapolis office received “Platinum Market” status for achieving $8.5 million dollars in annual revenue growth, posting a client retention rate greater than 90%, exceeding revenue per capita targets, being in good standing with the franchisor, positively contributing to the system and making charitable contributions (time, money, and goods) to their local community.
